MRIs may be Useful to Predict the Need for Elbow Surgery in Asymptomatic Baseball pitchers
LAS VEGAS — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Nikhil N. Verma, MD, discussed the use of MRI findings of asymptomatic elbows to predict the need for surgery in Major League Baseball pitchers. He said changes in the UCL were predictors for surgery in pitchers.
